She traveled from Rhode Island to Arizona—and at approximately 11:51, she revealed that this was her very first pedicure!
Her thick, discolored big toenails were extremely curved at the sides, placing pressure against the corners of her toes. During this detailed pedicure, I carefully shorten the nails, clean beneath the lifted areas, reduce the excess thickness and apply acrylic bands designed to hold the nail plates in a wider position as they grow forward.
You’ll also see the client’s reaction when she is asked whether the detailed cleaning hurts. Her answer may surprise people who assume that working with thick or curved toenails must be painful.
