The Rajasthan Government has reviewed the implementation of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act during the State-Level Vigilance and Monitoring Committee meeting chaired by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma in Jaipur.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister directed officials to ensure strict action in cases related to atrocities against SC/ST communities, conduct time-bound investigations, provide financial assistance to victims, and ensure speedy justice. He emphasized that the safety, dignity, and constitutional rights of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities remain the government's top priority.

The meeting also reviewed pending cases, the functioning of the assistance portal, and the implementation of welfare measures under the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. According to the government, there has been a decline in reported atrocities and an improvement in the disposal of cases over the past two-and-a-half years.
