LVC Corporation, the crypto subsidiary of messaging giant Line, is set to launch trading of its proprietary cryptocurrency Link in Japan in April 2020. Blockchain Being Used To Grow UAE Healthcare System
The UAE's Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) together with the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, Dubai Healthcare City and other relevant authorities has launched a blockchain-based health data storage platform. According to The Emirates News Agency on Feb. 2, the blockchain-based platform aims to improve the efficiency of MoHAP and other health authorities' smart health services.
XRP Releases 500,000,000 Tokens
XRP price growth is not moving quickly in 2020, despite blockchain payment network Ripple releasing 500 million tokens from its escrow. Data from the XRP blockchain noted by monitoring resource Whale Alert on Feb. 1 confirmed a single transaction of 500,000,000 tokens worth $119.5 million left Ripple’s escrow the same day.
