The goal of Project Awesome is to build a fully functional, fully mobile pipe organ. The organ is being constructed from mix of salvaged church organ and theatre organ parts. With many more components being built by ourselves including a completely novel and custom control system.
The organ is being constructed inside a lorry body with a fold out side stage. The lorry body will be mounted on a 6x6 truck built for the cold war, saved from scrap and rebuilt by us.
