The first camping shelter I made came in at a staggering 5kg, the second a more sensible 920g. Now, before the next big hike, I want to make something smaller and even lighter.
So join me (and the cats) as I fire up the Beaver 3 sewing machine once more and tackle another piece of homemade camping gear.
The design is roughly 2.8m x 1.5m and is very similar to the 'Superlight Small' tarp from DD Hammocks.
