In this video I weld back together a couple of John Deere drawbar supports that were broken by a very heavy tongue weight manure spreader. A common job I do is tackle the unfixable and of course most say welding cast iron is one of those things so I do it all the time. Proper pre and post heat is a must as is allowing for expansion and contraction of the part during the welding process. Follow along as I burn a few rods and make this thing back to a useable repair with what could be an invisible fix with enough grinding.
