Nolan Wells’ group chat continued after his death, and the first four pages of messages I reviewed raised questions for me. The conversation appeared to focus suspicion on Katie until the group learned she had gone to Nolan’s parents and the police. I’ll show you what I read and explain why that shift caught my attention.
We’ll also look at Andrew Garrett’s findings about Snapchat messages that were deleted, the friends’ attorneys denying that their clients deleted anything or accessed Nolan’s phone, and District Attorney Angel Myers McIlrath’s sharp response to Ben Crump after the family’s press conference.
A deleted message does not, by itself, prove someone touched Nolan’s phone or tell us why it was removed. Nolan’s cause and manner of death remain undetermined, and his family is still seeking answers.
