Description
Three ex-offenders begin hawker apprenticeships in pursuit of a fresh start.
One week into training, Paul, Vincent and Shaly are immersed in the demanding realities of the hawker trade under the guidance of their mentors. As Paul learns to prepare chicken rice from scratch, Vincent struggles to perfect the technique of frying Hokkien Mee, while Shaly faces a different challenge altogether—earning his mentor's trust in the hope that she will finally reveal her closely guarded Ayam Penyet sambal recipe.
As the weeks unfold, the pace quickens and expectations rise. With every mistake scrutinised and every new skill tested, the apprentices must demonstrate the discipline, resilience and commitment needed to earn their mentors' approval before putting their skills to the ultimate test in a final cook-off before a panel of judges.
