There were three vehicles in the driveway. The dogs were outside. Someone had even started mowing the yard...But no matter how many times we knocked, nobody answered the door.
As we walked around the property, something just didn't feel right. What started as a routine cleanup quickly turned into a situation that had us wondering if we needed to call for help or considering breaking down the door. This homeowner has been battling the effects of Alzheimer's, and after hearing his story, we knew we couldn't just walk away. Just as things started to escalate, she pulled in and told us what was going in, then we became more concerned.
