I tried to build a bent lamination casserole shelf for a client who then vanished. Here's what happened.
When a client asked me to remake a steel pot stand in timber, I saw an opportunity to push my woodworking skills further — using bent lamination to turn a simple kitchen piece into something genuinely beautiful. What followed was laser fires, a disappearing client, weeks of soaking timber strips, and an honest look at what happens when a custom furniture project goes sideways.
