Michael Jackson and Tyla collaborate in my mashup titled 'Liberian Girl Did It Again'. It features Michael Jackson's classic single 'Liberian Girl' from his iconic album 'BAD' and Tyla's single 'She Did It Again' featuring Zara Larsson. This idea came to me when I was in the shower days after watching the Michael biopic. Since watching the biopic (that I enjoyed btw) I've been binging Michael Jackson's discography and it inspired me. I haven't mixed his music since 2009 but when I was in the shower my mind clearly said it needed to change. I love how these two tracks sound together, the African soundscape within the production suits 'She Did It Again' perfectly and I think the narrative is enhanced with both lyrics combined. I've also added my own background vocals and edited harmonies to enhance the track. Let me know your thoughts in the comments!
