Addison Rae and Tinashe collaborate in my mashup 'Pepsi Life'. It features Tinashe's song 'Life's Too Short' and Addison Rae's hit single 'Diet Pepsi'. Life's Too Short is one of my favourite songs from Tinashe, she has this ability to work with such ethereal productions in a way I'm not sure others would be able to execute as well as she does. After being pleasantly surprised by how strong Addison Rae's album was, 'Diet Pepsi' really grew on me and I felt her vocal melodies were similar to 'Life's Too Short' so decided to test my theory. Originally, I was going to make this mashup with Rae's instrumental but Tinashe's instrumental is just so beautiful I ended up changing it midway through. I really love this mashup, in my head I picture myself in the midnight ocean bathed in the light of a full moon with a blue whale as my companion. Or, I'm floating in space heading towards a black hole in complete acceptance in morbid bliss, lmao idek. Let me know your thoughts!
