Everything moves, changes, disappears, and returns. In META, Antje Heyn creates a playful animated world where animals, shapes, sounds, and gestures transform into one another, revealing the invisible connections between all things.
META is an animated film that takes up topics such as change, transience, cycles, connection, and interaction in a playful and experimental way. The aim is to show that everything consists of many parts and that in the end we are all connected with each other.
ABOUT THE FILMMAKER: Antje Heyn tells stories through animation about the inner lives of things and beings. She finds inspiration in fleeting moments, landscapes, animals, and human gestures. She loves bringing characters to life and regularly shares her knowledge through teaching and workshops. In addition, she is the artistic director of Protoplanet Studio.
