In this special episode of Mechwar W Sofra, we take you behind the scenes of our journey across Lebanon’s villages, where we met incredible women whose hearts are deeply connected to their land, their traditions, and the authentic flavors of Lebanese cuisine.
From our first visits and discovering each woman’s story to the preparations, filming, and spontaneous moments, we share the journey that brought us together and allowed us to discover the richness of our culinary heritage.

A special part of this journey was sharing every discovery with Anthony and Jean, alongside our partner Puidor, whose presence added another dimension to this culinary adventure. Their satisfaction, curiosity, and genuine excitement while discovering the women, their stories, their villages, and their traditional recipes made every visit more rewarding. From exploring authentic Lebanese flavors to discovering how Puidor products could become part of our culinary creations, every new dish, every hidden tradition, and every encounter brought fresh inspiration and reminded us how much beauty Lebanon has to offer. Together, we celebrated the connection between tradition, creativity, and the joy of sharing good food.
And of course, none of this would have been possible without our amazing team. From the scouting and planning to the filming and all the little details behind every episode, it was a collective effort filled with dedication, teamwork, creativity, and a lot of laughter. Every team member contributed to making this journey what it was: a beautiful experience that went far beyond the camera.
This was never just about cooking Lebanese food. It was about human connections, shared happiness, genuine emotions, and discovering the beauty of our villages and the traditions that deserve to be preserved for future generations.
