We recently tried the Flødebolle Workshop at the Frellsen factory shop in Kødbyen, a trendy area filled with vibrant restaurants, and both adults and kids in our group had an absolute blast! They offer a course for adults as well as dedicated workshops for kids and families.
During the course, you learn how to pipe fluffy marshmallow foam onto marzipan and waffle bases, dip your flødeboller into warm melted chocolate, and finish them with colorful toppings before packing your creations into a takeaway box to bring home. We enjoyed our homemade flødeboller at home, and they were absolutely delicious!
If you are a fan of flødeboller, their shop selection is impressive! Frellsen crafts a huge variety of flavors—from classic dark chocolate and coconut to raspberry with white chocolate, mocha, caramel, licorice, and indulgent options with marzipan bases or chopped nuts.
After the workshop, we treated ourselves to coffee and soft ice cream. The shop features all of Frellsen's chocolate brands and specialty coffees. Honestly, their soft ice cream might be the best (and best value!) around, complete with a free choice of sprinkle toppings.
