Description
Jesus commands us to love one another because love cannot depend entirely on how we feel.
God gives us an intellect to recognize what is good and true, emotions that help us respond to what we experience, and a will that allows us to choose between good and evil.
Our feelings may change, but Christian love goes deeper. It means choosing what is good for another person, even when the emotion isn't there.
