Da ich mich immer über diese "shaky camera" Videos von gewiss tollen Modellbau-Ausstellungen wundere, wollte ich mal den Unterschied zwischen dem Gewackel und einer Photo-Slideshow zeigen.
Natürlich ist es viel bequemer und in der Nachbearbeitung bedeutend unaufwändiger einfach alles flott abzufilmen, anstatt ordentliche Photos von den wunderbaren Modellen zu machen. Das Ergebnis ist dann aber auch bestenfalls drittklassig und meiner Meinung nach dem Publikum nicht zumutbar. Ich rutsche lieber auf den Knien über den Hallenboden, um möglichst gute (wenn auch nicht perfekte) Photos für euch zu machen und wende viele Stunden in der Nachbearbeitung auf, damit am Ende was halbwegs ansehnliches heraus kommt.

I keep wondering about all those "shaky camera" videos of certainly awesome scale model exhibitions, so i felt like i should illustrate the difference between that shaky footage and a photo-slideshow.
Of course it is much more convenient and during the editing process not nearly as tedious to just walk around filming instead of taking proper photos of all those wonderful models. Well, the result usually turns out to be third class at best and the audience deserves better than that.
I rather slide through the exhibition halls on my knees in order to take good (still far from perfect) photos for you and put many hours into the editing process to ensure a somewhat presentable result in the end.
