During a late-night investigation in California’s Mojave Desert, Tim hiked alone after midnight to the historic site known as Steam Wells.
Steam Wells was once home to the legendary “Steam Man,” who lived beside a natural geothermal vent that emitted steam directly into his underground dwelling. Although the geothermal opening has since closed, the location remains one of the most unusual and isolated sites in the Mojave Desert.
While documenting the area with a powerful spotlight, an unexplained light anomaly briefly appeared above the hillside. The anomaly was not noticed in the field and was only discovered later during video review.
