SHERRY KIM IS BACK... because... Legends Never Die. :)
Hi everyone!!! It's kind of crazy to be back on YouTube. To be honest, I never thought I'd ever make a full return again, but thanks to a number of friends who have been encouraging me to re-start this year, I've had the chance to sit down and really think about it.
Truthfully, there were a lot of fears and doubts in regards to making YouTube videos that I never overcame since my first hiatus back in 2012. I had a million and one reasons why I wanted to leave YouTube in the first place, but I've come to realize that instead of running away from my problems, it's best to conquer them head on!
Shoutouts to a few special people: Nick and Jon for first introducing me to this song, and Kyle Landry for being the best YouTube big brother I've ever had. He's the reason why my audio quality sounds so good!!
I thought it was especially fitting to do a cover of Legends Never Die, not just because it's been a huge hype in the League community. The lyrics really spoke to me on a personal level, about not losing hope, not giving up, and picking yourself back up. That's precisely why I decided to end my cover using the melody from the first verse,
"They never lose hope when everything's cold
And the fighting's near
It's deep in their bones
They run into smoke when the fire is fierce
Oh, pick yourself up 'cause"
