Description
The market continues to shape how automakers respond, and Kia is no exception.
Paul Turnbull from Kia touched on how customer expectations, fuel costs and changing buying behaviour are influencing the brand’s approach in South Africa. While Kia continues to lean into a premium look and feel by design, it’s also adapting its product strategy to what the market actually needs.
A good example is the Carens, which launched locally with diesel derivatives only, a decision influenced by fuel costs and the realities of everyday ownership.
And there’s more on the way, with Kia planning to introduce a new EV in February as its local electrification strategy continues to take shape.
