A refined Southern lady, Dena N. Radcliffe served as a long-time secretary to US Senator A S Mike Monroney from Oklahoma. As a member of Senator Monroney's Washington, D.C. staff, she assisted him throughout his tenure, which lasted from 1951 to 1969. In her role as secretary, she managed sensitive correspondence and administrative duties for the Senator, who was a prominent figure in aviation legislation and postal reform.
After falling gravely ill with leukemia in 1962, and suffering severe bodily pain for several years, a friend of Dena's husband, Mr. Lieberman phoned Dena and informed her of Kathryn Kuhlman's ministry as a healing-evangelist, encouraging and inviting her to attend a service. Finally, Dena ventured the lengthy road-trip, riding out with Mr. and Mrs. Lieberman (and some other friends) from Oklahoma City to Los Angeles, in order to attend a monthly Kathryn Kuhlman miracle service @ the Shrine Auditorium. The service transpired on October 2, 1966. She testifies that it was there, at The Shrine, that she received divine healing, and that it occurred instantly.
This telecast (above) was circa 1968, even as Dena was healed in 1966 and lived another 18 years, totally free of cancer. The healing-miracle was confirmed by her Oklahoma City physician, an internal medicine man, Dr. Louis W. Dvorak. His words: "Dena I can find no trace of leukemia in you and I don't believe any other doctor would find it either." Dena passed away at the age of 90 on 6 Nov 1984! (She even outlived Kathryn, who passed over into glory in 1976).
