One of my favorite instrumentals from not only J. Geils Band but any band for that matter - track number 2 from their 1970 self-titled debut out of the legendary Atlantic Studios record company.
So many casual J. Geils Band fans only recognize them from "Centerfold", "Freeze Frame", "Love Stinks" etc., but little did they know that this group has already been around 10+ years prior to those massive hit singles bustin' their tails performing all around the country giving the crowds 150% of everything they had!
Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in Cleveland should take a better look at this group - they've inducted many groups (most of them very good) over the last 10 years or so but anyone would be hard-pressed to find even one of those groups having any sort of capability of putting on a more electric, roots oriented, non-stop, unrelenting explosion of good old fashioned Rock & Roll than the original Bad Boys from Boston!
