Hope you enjoy! After watching/listening/groovin'/dancing these rockin' songs...I don't know how anyone wouldn't agree that this wild group should be inducted (already!) in the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame! In recent years, the Geils Band were chosen a couple of times in a row as nominees for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, only to get snubbed each time. Yet, the Hall includes The Cure, Janet Jackson, and Green Day? The Cure and Janet Jackson are good artists, but they weren't anything close to Rock & Roll like J. Geils Band always was. And without any shadow of a doubt, none of those mentioned inductees' - including many others being inducted as of late - energy on stage could ever compare to the level that JBG brought to the stage every sinlge night. And they brought that bar-room style Rock with such musicianship with a sound that was heavily influenced by the timeless roots music all so important to the DNA and development of what we came to know as Rock 'n Roll.
The mighty JGB should have been inducted into the Hall YEARS AGO! Rest easy J. Geils! Your contributions to popular music will never be forgotten! I hope you're jammin' out with Tom Petty, Prince, Bowie, and all the other greats we've lost, many, just in the last few years.
