The new electrics layout for the Italy trip is finally coming together. I’ve just finished fitting the solar isolator switch into the back cupboard, which means the main fuse board panel is completely sorted.
Inside that one cupboard, I've now got the 230V consumer unit, the solar isolator, and the bladed fuse holder all neatly fitted.
Over in the cubby hole, I’ve mounted all the Victron gear onto a piece of ply, run the wires properly, and sorted the fuses so it’s actually safe and easy to manage.
Next job is ordering the battery. I need something decent-sized, 300Ah or above, and I’m looking at Fogstar at the minute.
What brand of lithium battery are you lot running, and what do you suggest I go for?
