The kitchen unit is finally out and I’ve completely stripped out the electrics. The leisure battery and all the Victron gear are on the garage bench, leaving just the bare cables for now.
Today’s plan is building a proper, accessible fuse board area. I’ve put together a panel that slots right into the back cupboard. It holds the consumer unit for the 240V plugs, the bladed fuse holder, and tomorrow I’ll be adding the solar panel isolator switch.
Previously, everything was buried in a tiny cubby hole and was a nightmare to access. Now, if a fuse blows or something trips while we're away, I can just open the back doors and check it instantly.
