Description
I’ve changed everything again. The Renogy inverter now has a 250 amp Mega Fuse connected to the live cable, which the original install didn't even have. I've also got another 250 amp fuse ready to go for when my new Fogstar 334Ah Lithium battery arrives. I've upgraded to 35mm² cable for the inverter and battery too, as the original wiring was a lot thinner.
Originally I was trying to cram all of my electrical equipment into one space to free up some cupboards, but that plan went completely out of the window. I just couldn't make it work. I’ve changed the layout around and I'm actually glad I did now. Everything is a lot more pleasing to the eye, even though it's going to be hidden away in a cupboard, and most importantly it is miles safer!
All I have to do now is run the live cables to the busbar and the electrics are finally done.
Next job on the list is sorting out my drinking water container. I'm currently using a 10 litre jerry can and it drives me absolutely insane 🤣
What size water tank are you lot running in your Transporter Campers? Let me know in the comments.
