Description
The Insta360 Mic Pro Wireless Microphone System packs excellent sound quality and an impressive amount of flexibility into a tiny package. Tech expert Dave Taylor takes a close look at the dual-transmitter system, including setup, audio quality, Bluetooth connectivity, 32-bit float recording, noise reduction, and the fun customizable E-Ink displays. He also demonstrates how to change the E-Ink display using the companion app and puts the wireless range to a real-world long-distance video test.
There’s a lot to like about the Insta360 Mic Pro, particularly its clean audio, compact transmitters, extensive recording options, and ability to work with cameras, computers, and mobile devices. All that flexibility does introduce some complexity, however, especially when figuring out when the transmitters work directly over Bluetooth versus when you need the receiver. Dave walks through the options, demonstrates how it all works, and explains why this is an excellent wireless microphone system once you get comfortable with its many capabilities.
