Surprise! Here’s a little bonus track for you all. "Inatt Jag Drömde" is one of those songs that’s deeply rooted in Swedish folk music. Most people here know it as a melancholic song of peace and dreams, famously recorded by Cornelis Vreeswijk.
Growing up, my dad always played Cornelis Vreeswijk at home, and this song was one of those that just stuck with me. It’s got that classic Swedish folk sadness mixed with a hopeful message.
I wanted to put my own spin on it by blending Cash’s style with my own roots, singing it in Skånska—the accent from the most southern part of Sweden, where I grew up. Even though it’s not officially part of the album, I wanted to share it as a bonus track because it means a lot to me.
I hope my Swedish audience will appreciate this unique take on a classic. Let me know what you think!
