Description
After a seven-year pause, Amman Design Week is officially back. In this conversation recorded during Amman Design Week 2026, we sit down with Sarah Hejazin and Bisher Tabbaa, co-founders of Fadaa, who have taken on the role of co-directors to guide this new chapter for Jordan’s design community.
We dive into this edition’s theme, "Accumulations," and examine Fadaa's unique approach to practice—from investigating raw materials, local craft, and landscape to exploring what practicing architecture in Jordan offers compared to anywhere else. From small-scale objects and installations to full-scale buildings, discover how working across diverse formats helps redefine the relationship between architecture, culture, and place.
