In British RP, we replace the /r/ from these words #britishpronunciation

In RP British pronunciation, the letter R often vanishes when it comes before a consonant sound, or when it's at the end of a word, and it’s replaced by a vowel sound instead.

This means “years” becomes /jɪəz/, “carefully” turns into /ˈkeə.fəl.i/, and “lower” transforms into /ˈləʊ.ə/.

These are mistakes I hear from my students every week, and today I’m showing you the wrong way and the RP-correct way.
