We focus especially on the rise–fall tone, one of the most important patterns for sounding natural, expressive, and human in British English. You’ll also hear how the fall–rise tone is used to show uncertainty, hesitation, politeness, or when something is not quite finished.
Intonation is often the difference between sounding:
• flat or engaging
• robotic or human
• neutral or emotionally clear
Intonation is essential for everyday conversation, professional communication, presentations, acting, and any situation where how you sound matters as much as what you say.
