It was three years ago when I was 20. I cannot say that we were totally poor, but we had some financial difficulties because my father was ill at that time and my mother was disabled. So they stayed at home, and we were trying to make ends meet. When some matchmakers came to us, then, without hesitations, my father allowed a thirty-six-year-old man to marry me. Moreover, I had to be his second wife, since he had already had a wife and a child. It was awful. I hate all of them including my parents. I was crying hysterically. I was ready to escape from my home, but I didn’t dare. Something just was holding me back. Overall, I made peace with that.
