Description
This knitting lesson will teach you how to knit Make One (M1) increases, which are a very popular way of increasing the number of stitches on your needles.
There are 2 versions - the Make One Right (M1R) and the Make One Left (M1L) - and these are usually paired together on right-side rows to produce a neat symmetrical result.
Make ones are often called 'Invisible Increases' because they blend in nicely with the knitting - Especially when compared to another common increase, the 'kfb', which is pretty easy to spot because you get a little horizontal strand of yarn on your knitting wherever you use it.
