How to Improve your Make One Increases | Easy Trick to Make your M1s Neater | Knitting Tutorial

Rokolee DIY Guide 7 months ago

Description

This knitting tutorial will show you a tip for improving the look of your 'make one' (M1) increases using the simple yarn over technique. I'll show you how to make the stitches surrounding your M1s neater and more even, rather than appearing small and tight.

What normally happens when working an M1 is that you create a new stitch using yarn from the stitches either side of it - but this then makes those stitches smaller. By adding a yarn over on the previous row, you add in extra yarn to use instead, so this less-than-ideal effect doesn't happen.

I hope you find this useful :)
