How I CHARGE Starlink Mini Battery Off-Grid with Solar Power

In my previous video, I showed the Orbynexa Portable Power Mount (a powered tripod) for Starlink Mini, a compact tripod with an integrated battery and dedicated 30V output for the Starlink Mini.

In this companion video, I show how to keep that system charged directly from portable solar using a lightweight PowerFilm solar panel and a simple USB-C Power Delivery adapter.

A few of you asked how I was able to take power directly from a solar panel, convert that to USB-C Power Delivery, and charge the Orbynexa Portable Power Mount without using a large power station, inverter, or complicated charging setup.

The answer is surprisingly simple.

One of the most important things to understand about this setup is its simplicity. The solar panel feeds the USB-C PD adapter directly, and the adapter negotiates the correct USB-C Power Delivery voltage automatically.

No inverter.
No AC conversion.
No heavy power station.

Just lightweight DC power designed for portable field operations.
