In this history documentary I take a look at the Battle of Pelusium, a clash between the ancient empires of Persia and Egypt that saw cats deployed on the battlefield with stunning results.
Did the presence of cats really win the battle for the Persians? I also take a look at some other weird and unusual ways animals and insects have been used in history to gain an advantage in battle.
