The egg hunt is on again!
Today, the kids and I are searching all across our homestead to find as many hidden chicken and duck egg nests as we can. Our hens and ducks love to sneak away and lay their eggs in secret spots, so we’ll be looking everywhere to see what we can find. We even find that one of our chickens laid eggs in a secret nest in a tree!
We also discover a mama hen hiding out and secretly trying to hatch a clutch of eggs.... more baby chicks to come?!
After the hunt, we count up all the eggs we found and do the float test to see which ones are still good to eat.
