Description
Two non-canonical writings were purposely kept out of the canon because they clearly indentify Saul of Tarsus as a false prophet that would use a corrupt gospel to establish a counterfeit Church/Christianity.
Both the Coptic Apocalypse of Peter and Clementines Homilies contain prophecies about a false teacher that would lead multitudes astray.
I say it can only be Paul they are warning us about because the false teacher would become popular prior to the destruction of the "Holy Place", which logically can only be referring to the temple that was destroyed in 70 AD.
