Description
We filmed this truck from Mid Valley’s Kingsburg yard in an unincorporated area outside of Hanford, in an area that does not fall within city limits or within any CSD boundaries. At one point it appears to have been open market between Waste Connections, Sunset, and Mid Valley, but with Mid Valley having bought both of its competitors they had long been the sole hauler at this point. All the existing carts still remained providing some great cart variety for the video. Recycle also appeared to be voluntary, so the lack of SB1383 implementation was a bit of a time warp even when we filmed this in 2021.
This was also when Mid Valley had majorly begun modernizing their fleet which was my main motivation for filming what was left of their older equipment at the time, this truck being post 2010 it may still be around but the vast majority of their fleet is newer CNG Amreps at this point.
