This is my second attempt at germinating rare seeds found in every 50-200 California navel oranges. It's been nine years since my first attempt, and I hope to get things right this time. I would recommend peeling the seed coat as I did in my lemon tree growing series and using hydrogen peroxide to maintain a sterile germination environment just like I did 9 years ago, but without paper towels or tissues. I did not try heating the germination chamber on top of my computer or some other heat source this time, which could have accelerated germination.
