Description

Oh hey, it's "Ms. Pac-Man", but third person! And Slug! And Slime! Released at the beginning of the year (2026), "Garden Hunt" by CREA CLAN and KamiEna is a simple and cute game that's a cheap, 3D Pac-Man derivative. There will be several smaller projects mixed in with longer ones.

Yeh.

As a Slug girl named Meina, your goal is to find Pure Slimes to cure the villagers of Slugnail Village after your sketchy village elder (Obaba) gets them infected by Lolidium Slimes in the pursuit of youth. Meina will chase these slimes around 3D mazes with the blue ones serving as pellets and the purple ones serving as ghosts. Just like Ms. Pac-Man, you have the ability to dash (Nume Nume Dash, though this depletes a gauge which needs to be filled by following Numeri Trails) and a power-up similar to the "Power Pellet" in this game (Hydrangea Extract) that will send Meina into "Fever Time" where she can eliminate the purple slimes for a limited time. There is a small map / radar that also gets enhanced while in this state so that the player can see further away. As you progress through the game, a few gimmicks will be introduced such as faster Lolidium Slimes (Possessed Villagers), greater enemy numbers / patterns, and "advanced darkness" which significantly reduces visibility.

That all said, the main thing you have to be mindful of here is the reduced visibility compared to the average Pac-Man game as you can't see around corners and some areas have multiple blind spots, so it's generally a good idea to avoid these areas on your map if you can help it. There's some level of RNG at work (especially for about three or four levels towards the end of the game) but the game isn't very difficult in general and is a pretty casual and laid-back experience. The graphics and sound are good (the music seems to shuffle randomly) and the game's little story is fully voiced. At $4, there are better (and cheaper) games, but it's hard to be critical of this game and it's quite competent overall on what they set out to do. This is a video of the game in action. You can clear it in about an hour or so with some persistence. You can get the game at:
