A Frieren inspired original composition in the style of Evan Call and his incredible Frieren: Beyond Journey's End soundtrack.
I have nothing but praise for this anime. A breath of fresh air in so many ways. I decided to give it a try once I found out that Evan was the main composer and it was being produced by Madhouse. It really exceeded my expectations.
I’ve been listening to Evan’s Violet Evergarden soundtrack for years so this composition came up very naturally. Frieren has a bit of an ethnic twist (Zoltrak is a great example) but the fundamentals are very similar to violet. I also added a bit of my own touch with the Tower of god choirs as usual.
Let me know if you’d like a production tutorial in this style btw! I wouldn’t mind at all. Adventure soundtracks are fun as heck to make.
