In this vlog, I share our honest review of West Bay Holiday Park and the surrounding area of West Bay. Getting away in the caravan looks a little different for us these days, it's less about perfection and more about practicality, accessibility, and finding ways to make travel actually manageable.

I first show you around the inside of our caravan and talk about some of the ways we’ve adapted things to make life easier, including why we keep the bed permanently up to save energy instead of making it every day.
I then take you around the site itself, sharing what the facilities are like, how accessible the paths and amenities felt using my wheelchair, and our overall experience staying there.
One of the things we loved most was having West Bay Harbour just a short distance away. I include lots of footage from around the harbour, promenade, cafés and local area while talking about how accessible and relaxing it felt for us.
I also talk honestly about balancing rest days in the caravan, gentle drives out, and local trips depending on my energy levels — and how pacing has become such an important part of how we travel now.
By the end of the trip, both Chris and I agreed this is probably one of our favourite caravan sites we’ve stayed on so far 🤍
