Flew to a new spot today. It was hot. Alicia wanted to drive to the lake to swim and cool off.
I decided to fly there and do circles over her. He he he.
I had been hesitant to fly all the way out to Fall Creek Reservoir and Dexter Lake in the past because I wasn't sure about safe landing spots in case of an engine situation.
After carefully scrutinizing the route and the location on Google Earth, I decided it would be perfectly safe to make the flight.
It was. Lots of places to land, even along the lake just below the dam, as you will see in the video. Could have put it down there easily!
I am still waiting for a replacement audio cable, so i was unable to record COM audio this flight. Hope you like Seven Mary Three!
