Yes, it’s here. The Pocket 4 is finally here. I was lucky enough to get my early access to this awesome little camera. As some of you may know I’m always a big fan of the Pocket 3. And this pocket 4 is even better. First we have the brand new 1” sensor with 14 stops of dynamic range. Second, we do get the true 10Bit D-Log picture profile this time. Speaking of log picture profile, we can now use the lossless crop with D-Log. This is super handy. And the crop is actually pretty decent too. Third, the pocket 4 now comes with 107GB of internal storage. For most of the situation you don’t even need to bring a SD card.
If you don’t like to do any grading. The pocket 4 also added 6 new film tones. And you can also set how much colour you want in the video such as 30%, 50% and 75%.
Also we have a big upgrade on super slowmo, we can now have 4K upto 240p. This is hugh for a pocket camera like this. Most if the pocket cameras on the market only give you 1080p 120p. 4K 240p is just insane.
