Please subscribe! Headphones + 1080HD setting = best sound. I'm a ceramic artist, musician (and chemical engineer). This is a quick update on my DIY MIDI handpan project I call Panduino. I"ll do a more in-depth video in the future. I love making things, and this is my latest adventure in making. I play electric guitar as well as handpan and steel tonguepan. I've made a number of instruments like electric cigar box guitars, ceramic guitars, stoneware drums, ceramic flutes, ocarinas, udus, cigar box e-drums, and a didgeridoo. I love experimenting, learning, and making music on instruments that I make myself. I've recently been delving into learning how to program Arduino microcontrollers for MIDI instrument brains. This is a pet project, and it's been a lot of fun so far. I'm having a blast with my 'Panduino'! As I said in the video, I'm doing this for my own entertainment. It's so exciting that it works!
If anyone is a Kontakt power user I could use some help figuring out how to map different Kontakt sounds/instruments to the same controller like using 2 different synths on the same MIDI keyboard.
Future improvements include mapping percussive sounds to the 3 center mini tone fields (after I get the above Kontakt software issue figured out). I'll also probably make one with a smaller footprint because I can. What else do you think I should try?
Wishing wellness and wellbeing to everyone out there.

Huge thanks to the Nerd Musician and Notes and Volts youtubers for their inspiring teaching.
I had way too much fun messing with fonts from this site (as I'm sure you can tell from the intro/outro). Sometimes I get carried away. https://www.fontspace.com/category/80s
