Description
It was bound to happen. Brands like Satisfy forged a relatively new path in the running world by combining functionality with fashion-forward aesthetics. Now imitators are showing up to provide consumers with more affordable options.
I generally avoid brands whose selling point is "we do x but cheaper" in favour of those who present new or creative ideas, but I see the appeal when luxury running brands charge increasingly high premiums for products which are going to be worn heavily and washed frequently. I also would be far more critical if this were a huge company or fast fashion label rather than a small start-up. Would you wear anything from Currently, or stick to the original? Is it good that 'alternative' brands exist to luxury-priced pieces?
