Loco Dice came to "1000 Miles" as a rising name out of Düsseldorf, a few years before the run of records that made him a headliner.
The track was released during a remarkable year for Poker Flat and for the minimal genre as a whole, when several well chosen patterns and a powerful groove had the impact to sweep an entire dance floor off its feet. Loco Dice understood this and his remix became the go to track for many DJs in Ibiza.
Twenty years and a series of reinterpretations prove the original was built to last and Loco Dice's take remains one of the versions that keeps it moving. Another timeless tracks that aged like fine wine and our classic for this week.
