Description
Circus arts gave Jonathan Goh an escape from his troubles growing up. What started as a passion eventually became his career.
Despite doubts from family members about whether he could make a living as a performer, Jonathan pursued circus arts, graduating with first-class honours from London's National Centre for Circus Arts.
Now back in Singapore, he performs, choreographs routines and helps nurture local circus talent. He also helps organise the Bornfire Festival, giving performers a platform to showcase their work.
“I believe that circus arts will continue to exist in Singapore so long as there's people doing it,” he says.
