This is one of the best cigars of the year: Montecristo’s 90th Anniversary Cigar.
Created to mark the brand’s milestone anniversary, the hand-rolled puro pays tribute to one of the most recognizable names in cigars. Founded in Havana in 1935, Montecristo has since built a new chapter in Nicaragua, where this limited release was produced. The blend uses rare, aged tobaccos from the Plasencia family’s reserves, sourced from four of Nicaragua’s top growing regions: Estelí, Condega, Ometepe, and Jalapa.
The result is a medium-strength cigar with a smooth profile, a refined wrapper, and notes of white pepper and lemongrass.
